Frequently-Asked-Questions

  • What are your business hours?

    Angel Assist Transport is open Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 pm. If you have an appointment that falls outside of those hours, just let us know and we'll make arrangements for you. 

  • How do I schedule my pick-up times?

    Simple! Visit our Contact page to submit a contact form, call us, or email us. We'll work out your pick-up schedule for recurring weekly/monthly visits, and if any other appointments pop up... just let us know and we'll get it on the schedule. 

  • How do pick-ups after my appointment work?

    We usually ask for a pick-up time so we know when to be back to get you from your appointments. If you're not quite sure when you'll be out, that's no problem either. We'll allocate a 'standard appointment time' and you can call us at (423) 387-1220 when you're ready to be picked up. We make it easy! 

  • What payment methods do you accept? Can a family member pay for me?

    We accept cash, check, ACH, and all major credit & debit cards. Cash App and Venmo are also accepted. You, or your family, can make payments as well. Just be sure your family members let us know which account we should apply the charges to. All payments are due before pick-up. 

  • How far will you take me?

    Medical Transport Services are designed for Bristol, TN, Bristol, VA, Johnson City, TN, Kingsport, TN, and the surrounding Tri-Cities Region (60-mile radius of Bristol.) Do you need to make a longer trip? Ask about our Long Distance Medical Transport Services if you need to see a specialist outside of the Tri-Cities Region. 

  • Can you transport me to multiple appointments on the same day?

    YES! We'll create a succinct route for all of our clients, including clients who have multiple appointments on the same day. The cost per appointment remains the same. 

  • How much are your medical transportations services?

    Each trip is unique! Pricing is provided upon request to ensure we cover the time, distance, and scope of work required for your specific needs. 

  • I'm in a wheelchair. Can you still transport me?

    YES! Our fleet of medical vans is equipped with lift chairs to easily accommodate manual wheelchairs, power chairs, scooters, and all other mobility products. 

  • What about oxygen tanks, IV drip, and other medical accessories?

    Our vans come fully equipped to handle any medical accessory. With extra storage, hooks for IV drips, and plenty of room for oxygen or other medical accessories... you'll enjoy a comfortable ride with plenty of space. We'll personally see to it! 

  • Do you help patients in and out of the van?

    YES! This is what makes our services unique. We help every patient get in and out of the van, and we'll also assist patients into various facilities for their appointments. Senior citizens and mobility-challenged clients are given extra care and attention as well.
